Patrick Carri -
FURNITURE -
A traditionally trained cabinetmaker with over 35 years practical experience in Ireland, U.K., Denmark and Israel with clients in Europe, the Middle East and Australia. Members of my family have been involved in the 'old' furniture business since the late 1800s.
As well as furniture making and practical conserving/restoring, I have taught Furniture Restoration courses in Adult and Continuing Education Programs in several education centres in Ireland, as well as similar private courses.
ART WORK -
Over the years fine furniture making interest and skills have evolved, leading to the making of sculptural objects, art sculptures, and images, fusing craft-work and fine art disciplines.
Registered with the Design and Crafts Council of Ireland (DCCoI).
Founding Member of the 20ten Art Collective and Gallery.
TEACHING AND THERAPY WORK -
I hold an M.A. in Art Therapy, a B.A. in Psychology and Literature, and also work in these areas.
